Ocean Leopard is a purpose-built Cathedral Cove sightseeing boat, designed specifically for exploring the spectacular Mercury Bay coastline in comfort. With forward-facing seating, excellent all-round visibility and protection from the elements, every guest enjoys uninterrupted views from Whitianga to Cathedral Cove, Orua Sea Cave and beyond. Rather than simply transporting you between landmarks, the boat itself is designed to make the journey part of the experience.

From October 2026, guests will also enjoy the convenience of an onboard toilet, making the experience even more comfortable for families, older travellers and anyone who simply wants to relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about returning to shore.
